    Charging Batteries

    Yup

Wiring the boat to charge six 12v batteries.

I saw two guys one time, on a local small river, with a battery pack that took up most of room between the two bench seats. It looked like something off of a forklift. One motor in back and one in front. It was a little bigger boat I think, maybe a fifteen or sixteen footer.

    Attaching transducer to trolling motor

You mean versus mounting at the other end, or just mounting to the TM in general? I have probably the same transducer(dual beam) mounted on mine for a 565 and a 788. Works good. I wouldn't worry about a TM kit either. Just use your transom bracket to mount it. I had a bracket designed for the...

    One fishfinder Two mounts?

If you get a FF with internal gps you can swap it back and forth between the two mounts/transducers. That's how I have mine rigged. I've got a HB 788ci, gps/chartplotter with internal gps ant. I had an old Wide 128 HB on the console, and a grey scale HB 565 FF on the front. All three used the...

Guess this HP rating, can't find info online

Although you didn't give a bottom width, I'll guess maybe a 42-48" or so, 40hp would be about it, imo.

    welding up aluminum cracks?

Would mind explaining what you mean by "how the weld was terminated"? I weld a little for myself, but not aluminum. I end up with bigger holes than I started with.

    Bass do eat turtles!

Looks odd, for sure. I bet that boy had a blast with him though, great job.

A little bit from the garden!

Good looking 'maters. The little girl looks tickled too. You can't buy that in the stores, good stuff.

    Puppy Discipline

"so do you beat kids for doing things they don't understand are wrong?" I think you're making quite a leap from swatting a dog to beating kids. I have never squirted a dog with water, sounds like a mess. "No" usually gets it done. "No", show them what you want them to do. And repeat...

    welding up aluminum cracks?

There's more damage to the rib. The crack, well, yes it's cracked, but not over the top of the rib like that one is. The worst one I have is about 1/2 way up the side of the rib. I got in touch with G3 and they were pretty wishy-washy on their opinion of whether the welds would hold. I guess I...

    Bow mount trolling motor brackets?

I can't remember what the mount was called, but there was a quick-connect style mount made. I'm thinking MK here. I am thinking that it had a base that was permanently attached, and there was a mounting plate with the scissors on it that slid into the base and latched. You would want a...

    welding up aluminum cracks?

Several views, few posts. I'm wondering if there has been very many people that have had this done? Maybe not too many...

    Fishfinder Suggestions

I got a HB 565 for around 2 bills that works good. It's a 5" B&W model, works good. See your jig on the screen.

    depth finder question

I've heard of it, but haven't seen it in action. I'm going to do that on my boat, but haven't yet. I'm thinking one that shows the bottom and gps/maps, and one pointing forward to look for stumps/brushpiles. I'd be curious to know if anyone has run two simultaneously as well.

    Trolling motor switch

Just a foot controlled push on/push off switch would work good. Been thinking of putting one on mine also. Would be real handy for just a little bump up in brush/lilly pads without spooking fish with the front TM. I would use a relay though, too big of a hassle to run that big wire all the way...
