Yeah, I think I pointed that out.. with a slight grammatical error albeit

    12'

Yup 6.5 foot. I think it sticks out a couple 3 feet past the tail gate, but I haven't had any trouble with it staying put. Till I figure out the wheels, my home made dolly works just fine.

Jon boat in bed of pickup

12ft semi, 6.5 ft bed. I keep the 9.9 up front to keep from bouncing around and for forward weight. Ratchet straps around the back to keep in tight. The dolly I made cost like 20 bucks, but I have a set of Beach master mounting wheels that will replace it. Load the boat in the back, then load...

    12'

12 ft V, maybe 200 lbs, 9.9 2 stroke. Made a 'trailer' out of 2x6 and some Harbor Freight wheels. Load it up in the parking lot, mount the motor and wheel it down to the ramp. Will trade the wood and wheels for a set of flip up transom mounted wheels so I don't have to carry it or deal with...

    Evinrude Model Year

It's a whole new world. But honestly, not as bad as CNN made it seem, at least not around Chesapeake / VA Beach. Save the bells, let's just raise the beers and say 'cheers'!

    Boat and trailer in one

http://www.beachmaster.co.nz/ Found them through another member on here from the Puget Sound. Scroll through their photos, I remember seeing some examples of people towing little skiffs and what not, even though the company were specifically against the idea. Should be just fine for you if you...

    Evinrude Model Year

206.. Two Hundred and Six straight days at sea.. The ol Iron Ike decided enough was enough and pulled in last week and I'm finally back on dry land. Going through the wife's honey do list and finally had time for the Tinny. Got the number off the plug and should have an official answer for...

    Evinrude Model Year

Thanks for the replies folks. I've tried the decal route as well, even as far as asking them for their opinion. Currently waiting for a reply. Leeroy's Ramblings was a HUGE help and I learned a lot about these. He posts tons of pictures and just going off memory of how things looked under the...

    Evinrude Model Year

Hi folks, I am having trouble finding the model year for my - new to me - little 9.9. As you can see, the plate is missing / has been removed. I'm hoping some JohnyRude fans out there have an clue based just on photos. I have cruised though almost this entire site as well as LeeRoy's Ramblings...

    Jon Boat tar removal

One smelly way to do it is a blow torch and an old, throw away putty knife. Sounds painstaking, but like you, i would really want to see the condition under all that mess!

    My new (old) boat

Going through the process with Virginia right now, the good and bad.. For the good part, relatively easy since everything is done through gooutdoorsvirginia dot com Pay the fees, upload your documents, fill out the information , everything. Here is the bad, for an unregistered / never...
