    Update, boat is in the shop. They will be fabricating a knee brace (gusset) welding the holes and repairing a couple of cracks. Yay.

    Welcome magic32, I am planning for retirement in the same timeframe June 2025, had intended to restore the boat then also. Starting a little early since my son and family bought property about 400' and I want to take my grandson (18 months) out this year. Lol

    Very nice in that area, one of my buddies inlaws own 50 acres of waterfront on San Juan island. They used to do marine work there back in the day.

    I joined several years ago and have kept up on the reading. I live in Belfair, wa. Which is across the water from Seattle. I have a Valco 14' I believe the paperwork says 57 but don't quote me. Lol
