As mentioned, Duckworth and North Rivers are quite popular boats...more so in the PacNorthWest where they're built. I've fished in a couple of my buddies boats and was/am quite impressed with the Duckie and N/Rivers but they are quite costly.

I did call a local MinnKota repair shop for wiring and switches info, and was told my idea will never work. He said many have tried using a trolling motor as a bow thruster with no success. Oh well :wink: .

One could buy one of these, build a raised frame and slap a piece of plywood over it. I bought my slider off craigslist for $300 and it sure comes in handy for loading and undloading heavy items for this old man :wink: .

A short shaft is 15" A Long shaft is 20" An Extra Long shaft is 25"

Location on the Starboard side would be my preference for both Ducer and paddle wheel.

BTW I also installed a back-up camera on my Pontoon so that I can see who might be "barreling" down behind me before turning :wink: .
