New way of looking at flotation

I think I replied in another post as to what I used on my 19' Alumaweld for floation which are pool noodles from the Dollar store. I read up on various material used and for me this is what I used.

    flotation

The previous owner of the new to me Alumaweld removed all the water saturated foam flotation out from under the deck. I waited until the local Dollar Store stocked the pool noodles so bought a couple of boxes yesterday. There will be some who has pro or con on using noodles but based on many...

    Duckworth and other welded boats

As mentioned, Duckworth and North Rivers are quite popular boats...more so in the PacNorthWest where they're built. I've fished in a couple of my buddies boats and was/am quite impressed with the Duckie and N/Rivers but they are quite costly.

Always follow the recommended capacity found in the owner's manual and on the manufacturer's warning...

Is a Pontoon a "Tin Boat"?

I did call a local MinnKota repair shop for wiring and switches info, and was told my idea will never work. He said many have tried using a trolling motor as a bow thruster with no success. Oh well  .

Is a Pontoon a "Tin Boat"?

If so, here's my contribution on how to better/modify one so that one can be manuvered in tight quarters. A couple of months ago I decided to design, fabricate and install a Bow Thruster for my 28’ Party Hut Pontoon because it was very difficult to maneuver when the Delta wind kicks up...

Who can build me one of these

One could buy one of these, build a raised frame and slap a piece of plywood over it. I bought my slider off craigslist for $300 and it sure comes in handy for loading and undloading heavy items for this old man  .
