    Salem Canal (NJ) 8/15

7-11AM. 78-80 degree water temps, no-light wind. Didn't realize there was a tourney going on here today, was greeted to a parking lot. Figured since we already made the hour drive we'd stick around for a little while. Right away we ran to one of our better spots & I lose two off the bat. Then I...

    Rainbow Lake (NJ) 8/14

Ran a 5k this morning in OC, took a nap all day, then decided to fish. Fished 5-8PM, 78-81 degree water temps, cloudy & pretty windy. Launched & headed straight to the creeks since the water felt like bathwater. Figured maybe cooler water would prevail. Well, creeks didn't produce, had some...

New Way to Organize Your Plastics

I got this idea as an easy way to keep all my choice plastics together & organized while I was tryin to consolidate some room in the boat earlier. Basically it's a big O-ring & that way I can see all the plastics, pick what I want, take it off, & pick out a bait. What I'm hoping is that this...

Fished 4PM-7:30PM. Partly cloudy & breezy. Gnats got too bad to deal with the last hour so I left. Picked up a dink on the 5th cast on a SK Gold Sexy Shad. Worked the road edge pretty well with the SK Shad & boogie bait at the beginning and end just drifting with the wind. Went down the back and...
