I have ordered a Grizzly 1448. I have yet to order the motor. The actual shaft length on the Merc short shaft is 15.9 in. and the long shaft is 21.7 The transom is 17.5 in. If I get the short shaft it will be 1.5 in above the transom. If I get the long shaft I can adjust with a mini jacker etc...

On my last boat I used a Motormate on my 60 yam. Loved it. Motormate only does 2/stroke bigger mercs. Any suggestions from merc 25 or similar size engine owners.

I am planning to put a new merc 25 efi ELHPT on a 1448 grizzly. It will have a mini jacker. I know the actual transom height is 17.5. I believe the jacker raises the transom 3". Does anyone know the actual length [ clamps to cav plate] of the merc 25? If its 20" that would work out well.

I have a deposit on a 2019 Grizzly 1448. The transom measures 18" I was thinking to put a 20" 25hp merc tiller. Will a mini jacker be enough to put the cavitation plate correctly. I don't know what the merc shaft measures.

Hello all, I have been viewing posts for a month or so. I am considering pulling the trigger on a 2019 Crestliner Retreiver Jon 1546 tiller, 25 hp merc ELHPT EFI. Also thinking about the crestliner interior coating. Anyone have any experience with this boat. Any advise welcome. Thx
