I would email it in to them and ask if they can identify which one was done at their factory. (I think they will know which one since you are sending it to them!) Anyway, I can't imagine that they are okay with that quality and understand that it is going out the door like that. KRS

I know your job is done, but wanted to post for any future searchers. I saw a guy do this successfully with his jig or sabre saw. I just hope I remember it when it comes time to work on my project boat! KRS

PS -if you do it, don't destroy the wood as you take it out. That can be handy as a template.

Mine is the same way. There are a few guys on here that have done it and posted pics. Not a quick or easy job, but something you could get through if you are handy. (If you don't have a welder you would have to hire someone. I don't think that would cost too much though.) KRS

I am starting to get to work on this boat. With my schedule, I know it will take a long time to finish, but expect to get some solid gains on her this fall. I have one of the front ribs half drilled out and will do the rest shortly. (It actually doesn't take too long considering...) Anyway...

Has anyone tried to source the ribs for a tracker? I have a Pro17 and some are cracked. I can certainly weld them back up (that is why I am learning TIG) but thought it would be nice to lay down new material. KRS

Was any of the foam wet? Did you leak test it? I don't think you will need a wiring diagram. (You are talking about the boat in general right?) Should be pretty straight forward. Just make sure you have fat enough ports to get from back to console and front. KRS

Are those rivets for your hull? If so, what size are they and where did you order them from? I will need to tackle my hull/ribs in the fall. Not sure if it makes since to go ahead and replace them all or just the leaking ones. Oh and do plan on using an air rivet gun with your bucking bar...

I have never worked with that exact stuff, I think it would be too soft (motor through bolts) due to the internal voids. I am all for metal instead of wood, but I plan to replace mine like the others here have done. Wood and seal it really well. If I get 10+ years out of it, great. KRS
