11' Coleman Crawdad - Jon Boat Mods.

Unfortunately coleman no longer has replacements, as I have been through the ringer but got in contact with many people at the Coleman company. All orignial style crawdad parts were sold off. I ended finding a cheap crawdad with holes in it to use for parts for one of my crawdads.

    Flotation foam in Crawdad.

I've removed it in past boats, but you'll surprised how much freeboard you'll lose. In past crawdads I have removed the stock foam blocks and the waterline almost came over the boat. I replaced the stock blocks with free styrofoam blocks I got from my local tractor supply store, which they use to...

    Slow Activity in this section

=D> I just wanted to applaud everyone on their ideas. It seems like the stronger opinions and ideas people have, the better chance to get this up and going. I tried starting a club here in CT with no luck, but if more people did it elsewhere, it would catch on like the PLAGUE

Project Green Hornet: A Coleman Crawdad conversion

Well, I recently sold my 14' deep v for something more managable for an 18 year old like me. I bought a 12' coleman crawdad I saw by the road for 250 bucks. I decided I would call it the Green Hornet ( a tribute to my favorite movie Grumpy Old Men) Immediately after I brought it home, I...

    Coleman Crawdad

Recently I sold my 14' Aluminum for something more portable. Passed by this baby today while running errands and couldn't resist. Now I have a solid car topper. It was owned by an older gentleman who used it twice since he bought it in 1980   _Brian

    Sylvan Super Snapper 1400?

My friend has one, it is one of the best boats I have ever had the pleasue of being on. Stable enough 2 guys can stand up and fish. Can easily fit 3 people. The open floorplan is great for moving from one end of the boat to the other, and they are light enough that launching isn't a b*tch. A...
