I don't think the prop would cause the motor to pull right, but I would replace that prop pretty quick, I still think the trim tab needs to be adjusted some more

just thought id let y'all know what i found out, the float in the carb was trashed and filling up with gas. turns out it wasn't stalling when going from gear to neutral but it was flooding out every time i slowed down. mechanic replaced the float and no more stalling and flooding.

the impeller is the water pump, but the water pump housing that covers the impeller might need to be changed if its damaged. and yea its not very difficult at all

i did exactly what clark said. although i was told the motor hasnt been run in little over a year. i rebuilt carb (well mechanic did) changed impeller and lower unit lube, and spark plugs.

i learned the hard way that a fire extinguisher is a necessity if you have a motor. some how some fuel or vapors ignited inside the cover of the outboard. i was in shock for a couple seconds and i quickly ripped the fire extinguisher out of the boat and prayed like hell that it would work (came...
