    Lowe Paint Question

You can buy Lowe spray paint from any distributor. I used to run a body shop and I've told more customers than I can remember that "you can't match faded." If you touch it up, you're going to see it. If you are looking for a really good paint job, scuff the entire boat, prime any bare...

boat project done! going fishing tomorrow!

Proper rivets installed correctly do not need anything. You can dip them in 3500 if you just want to be messy.

    Painting motor

It's just like painting anything else. Clean, sand, prime, paint. Just a lot of prep involved in removing all the grease and taping up everything that should not have paint on it (or in it).

boat project done! going fishing tomorrow!

Self etching primer is for bare aluminum. You do not need to use it over the regular primer.

boat project done! going fishing tomorrow!

Sandblast first On parts getting covered with gluvit, apply gluvit. Scuff, prime and paint if you want to. Rest of the boat gets etching primer on any bare aluminum and then paint.

NO PRESSURE TREATED BUNK BOARDS ANYMORE!!

Good for you getting rid of that pressure treated wood! It has no business being anywhere near your boat. Before you get to happy about using that Thompsons Water Seal, read the following topic. There are better options to seal your fresh wood with that will last you a very, very long time...

    marine supply

Great Lakes Skipper is good for OEM parts that you can not find anywhere else. Everything else is kinda high. Here's a few of the more popular sites and probably some that many have never heard of https://www.fish307.com/ https://www.boatmateparts.com/ https://www.bartswatersports.com/...

    REALLY CLEAN Aluminum

Helpful hint when cleaning things like this. Start spraying at the bottom and work your way up the vertical surface. This will keep any streaks from forming. We used to do this when pressure washing. Sometimes those really clean streaks won't blend out if you start at the top and work your way...

    I may never sleep again!!

We have had one for a couple of years and normally order from https://www.coffeewiz.com/Keurig/ Sometimes you can catch the coffee cheap at odd places like Kohl's and some clothing stores. Best advice I can give you is to clean and descale it every few weeks and always use filtered or bottled...

Anytime you have gasoline onboard a fire extinguisher is a good idea!

    IDAHOAUGER's New Lowe L1436 Conversion

You don't have to worry so much about that since the compartment is completely open. All of my bass boats had batteries and gas tanks under a closed hatch that was vented. As long as it's vented, you're good to go.

bildge pumps - how many have them -

I carry a red Solo cup in my small tins. It's multipurpose. Does that count? Bass boat has automatic and manual plus a spare in the dry storage that can be clipped to a battery.

    hull ID etching question

Down here they just issue you a couple of stickers with the new HID on them. If you can not find anything else, let me know and I can stamp a piece of flat brass stock with the numbers and mail it to you. You can either rivet it on or just smear some 3500 on it and it won't go nowhere any time...
