    Here in tennessee, it is the jet boaters responsibility to yield to anyone in the water, or any unpowered craft.

    Spray shield questions

    I ordered one from the jet doctor and bolted it in with stainless bolts. I also used marine silicone on the bolts and under the piece itself. I had to cut mine out to make it fit better. I can get some pictures when I get back from vacation.

    I've got a 90/65 on my 16 footer. IMO, Never owned anything with a motor to big. Just too small.

    I'd put a 90 / 65 on it. I have a 20" shaft engine. With my jet, the transom is 27".

    There was a bean field on one side where the bank wasn't too steep, Drove through the bean field and down to the river, was able to hook it up with a strap and get it out.

    Lol.... maybe it was me. Maybe not. :-) I got the motor squared away. Runs life a top now that it has a new emm. I need someone who can weld to help me fabricate some things. Know any good welders in our area. For aluminum of course.
