When i try to start my 1975 25 evinrude all it wants to do it just backfire. I started it the other day and today its not starting. Its getting spark and the spark plugs are wet so i assume its getting fuel. Any idea what it might be?

Has anybody ever replaced the tiller handle and bracket on an evinrude? If so how difficult is it and any suggestions?

This weekend I had to take my Evinrude off of its stand and lay it down on its back side and noticed some oily sludge coming out of the very bottom of the motor. Its just right above the propeller. Ill try to get another(better) picture. Anybody have any idea of why its doing this? Thanks

On my trailer there currently are 2- 2x6s that my boat rests on and it has rollers down the middle. I think the boat sits up too high because it doesn't even touch the rollers on the trailer but almost every time I load the boat on the trailer it sounds like the boat is hitting the trailer...

I found a 1975 Evinrude 25 horse for 500.00 Im not familiar with these motors. Says its fully functional and everything works. How would i know what this thing is actually worth? Thanks
