Do any of y'all use a battery box power station? I'd like to use one since it has a built in circuit breaker and amp. If you use one which one do you recommend?

I was at the local electric only lake and this guy pulls up with the pulley system hooked up to his transom mounted trolling motor. He was steering with his feet. Would like to see if anyone has done this before. Thanks.

Anyone know how much a early 70s flat bottom 12 foot sears Jon weighs? I have different options but want to make sure of weight.

I had the old jon up on it's side during the week. When I lowered it to work on it this weekend there were two holes on the side of the boat that was on the floor. Is this normal? Or should I be concerned?

Here are the before pics. I don't really know what I'm doing as I have no experience with metal working. Any and all suggestions as to how to do this with out drilling a bunch of holes and things like that are appreciated.
