I watch fishing shows for the sole purpose of watching a fishing show. I can deal with commercials but what I don’t like is the Sunday school lesson at the end of the show. I guess if I get my own show I can do what I want with the last 3 minutes.

Actually it should work just fine. If the fill hose runs from the transom to the livewell in the floor of the boat, it should fill with water as soon as the boat is launched, unless you have a shut off valve on it. If not then the pump only has to lift water a foot or so.

Thanks for the reply Pappy. That's the type of answer I want, not only for me but you know there's someone else in the network that's thinking of the same thing. Since my donor motor was involved in a fire I'm going to take the powerhead off anyway. Even if I can't use it someone can.

I'm not sure of the model # of the jet pump. As far as the powerhead I think the 40 and 50 hp powerheads were the same, carburetors are what made the hp difference.

That's the easiest, it's just finding one.
