Hello Everyone,
New guy here so please bare with me, First off this site can really suck the time out of a week. It is awesome. Well you have got me wanting to do something to my little 10'. I know I would like to widen it. It is currently 32" +/- a couple of inches. So to begin the questions.
1. Should the alum be TIG welded or will rivets and sealants hold up? Pros and cons to either and including cost
2. I dont want it to fold up like a taco so ideas on how to extend the ribs and how to attach to hull?
3. Would widening to 42" to wide?
4. Places to buy a piece of alum large enough to fill the bill.
5. Do you think this is a crazy idea?
