Wanting to build a boat, trying to figure out how to cut out the front for a V front
Looking at a 17/60 or 66. Want a 6 deg deadrise in the rear with a delta pad in center,
Have seen some that say they are 12deg in front and 6 in back.
How in the world do you plan the cut in the front to form the bow
Anyone have any resource for this info?
By the way it will be for a sportjet thanks

Play with posterboard or Kraft paper and some cardboard to build a couple 1:12th scale models of your design. You can even start with 1/4" grid paper to help plot your lines equally side to side.

It's really quite easy to plot your lines and cut the profiles for the bow. It's just a 'V' cut in the material with curved lines. Production boats will stress the hull a bit.
