I've have a Mac's River Runner prop protector. You should look in to one.

Is that a long shaft motor on a short transom?

Can you use a jack plate or something to raise the motor up a bit?

Not its the used one. I bought one from boatersworld before they went out of business for 25 bucks... Put that on the same day and went out the next. Yeh It does seem a little long for the transum. I need some cmc pt35 actioin and a skeg guard.

Build a cage that clamps on. those that bolt on tend to break the cav plate of even worse or the skag.
