Local Park

Went to the local park before church this morning to see if anything was biting. It was a beautiful morning...

I tried a few crankbaits and heard one fish working the top. Tied on a popper and caught this 13 incher on the second cast which was about 5 feet from shore. Sorry about the picture, it was real early in the morning and my phone doesn't have a flash.

No other fish were biting. Saw some small stuff working the top, but they would not bite anything I threw. Saw two other anglers there and they hadn't had any luck, so I counted my blessings and came home. Time for church now!

Temp was 52 degrees - water temp unknown.
Wind about 8 mph
Fished lee side near known ledges and weeds.

Yes it was. I really like my phone (att tilt or htc 8925 - custom rom - default camera software but a 3 megapixed camera)

Just wish it had a flash
