Lower unit !

I was given a 1965 Merc. 50hp. short shaft mod. 500, The motor got stored for 3 yrs with water in the lower unit and is siezed up with rust real bad, If anyone has a blown/ junk motor I can get parts off of PLEASE contact me. The motor runs like new and I would like to get her fixed for next year.

Short? 15" or 20"
Some people think 20" is short.
Is your shift shaft a square or spline shaft?
I have a nice one if its square. With SS prop for 200.00 or no prop for 150.00
