Well, my wife asked me what I'd like for my Christmas present, and I said how about a PhotoShop product!? So, we went down to Staples and we (I mean "Santa") bit the bullet and bought PhotoShop CS5 Extended (Student/Teacher Edition) for $199 + change (the non-student/teacher version runs around $699  ) . Went home and did all of the necessary stuff to register it as a teacher (copy of my ID badge and a recent pay stub to prove I am employed as a teacher), which they say takes 1-3 business days to approve. Of course I decided to do this on Saturday, but in the mean time am messing with the program on the 30 day trial period until I receive the approved number code from Adobe.
This is gonna take some serious time to learn this stuff! . The one thing that will be a big help is the PhotoShop CS5 book by Scott Kelby (great step-by-step procedures) that I [thankgoodness] won in the Louisville PhotoWalk 2010 event this past summer.
Wish me luck on this endeavor...........................I'm gonna need it! [-o<
