Trolling motor advice?

Hey I have a 16 foot boat I already have two transom mount 30 pound on the back. My ? Is would three 30 on the back be as good or better than two 55?

Three 30's will never propel your boat as fast as two 55's. The 55's will draw more amps, but it would be worth it.

I think if you just put one 55 on the back you would see a major improvement. More motors equal more issues and less time fishing.......

If your wanting to speed out of your electric trolling motors look at getting a 24v motor with variable speed. Even if u don't want a 24v look at a 55lb motor with variable speed they are faster than the 5 speed models.
