I'm looking to buy a new battery for my trolling motor and live well. I'm just wondering what everyone uses and if you would buy another one

I used the search function and found a bunch of replies to your question
they all say the same thing get the biggest deepcycle you can afford
Agm batteries are exspensive I just picked up 3 for around $550 plus tax
ouch but they should last me for 5 years

If you are planning on trolling a good bit - I would pick up as much battery as you can afford. If you can't spend more than $100 - go to Walmart and get one of the Everstart Maxx 31 series batteries. I have 4 of them in my boat (and they've been there for 3 years now) and still going pretty strong.

I use a 24 group for my 1448 i have a 30lb thrust motor the boat has not been pimped out just the boat and motor

i only use the boat 2 weeks a year and wind up replacing the battery every other year 3 years at the most
I fish in a private pond that is 43 acres .

I know a lot of yall use Group 27's, anyone run 24's?

I run a group 24 in a 14.5 foot Sylvan, bow mount 40 lb. MinnKota. Can work the shoreline all day and still have plenty of charge left over.

I tried to find a reasonably priced series 31 AGM battery and wanted a $192 Series 31 Deka ( https://rebirthauto.com/o-8a31dt.aspx ) in my area but couldn't find one. But I was able to find a Fullriver AGM series 31 DC-115-12 for $199 ( https://www.fullriverdcbattery.com/media/pdf/Products/DC-Spec-Sheets/ss_dc11512.pdf ) (website: https://www.fullriverdcbattery.com/products/dc-series/?PHPSESSID=9f440b8ec17d69e12489c67ca54a60f9 )

The battery specs were what I wanted and hope it lasts for 5 years at the $199 price I paid. I really got tired of the "regular" deep cycles lasting 2 1/2 years for my trolling motor purposes.

I feel your pain... i just dropped $600 on 3 agm batteries.. I still want to replace my cranking battery with a 31 group agm but that will have to wait, all my toys tend to drain my cranking battery.
2 color GPS/depth finders, 1 structure module,2 bilge pumps, 4 live well pumps (2 to fill 2 to circulate) and 2 more to pump the out.
I want to get the new lowrance sonic hub but I don't think the battery will hod up to that touchier

It was mentioned in a previous post, but if you have an Interstate Batteries store near you, they often have "Blems." I stopped by the other day and they had some for $60 with core. I am not sure, but think it's a series 29. (Maybe a 27?) As much as I use my trolling motor, this should be fine for me. I plan to go back this week to get one.
