Looks like a good plan. I'm no expert but I'd think you need to be aware of the weights of the materials you are using. Lumber can add up to a large amount of weight pretty quickly. I really like the posts with the aluminum framework. Excellent thought and workmanship went into that construction. Great job!
 
Great plans! I went with 3/4 ply. Yeah, its a little heavy...however, I'm a lightweight myself. I didn't have to do a whole lot of supporting. I left it up to the front seat and middle seat for support then made light framing under the seat I mounted. It actually sits about perfect in the water! Good luck with the build! can't wait to see it!
