Hello,

I have a 2016 Tracker Grizzly 1648SC 25HP 4 stroke Merc model. I'm wondering what Mods has anyone done to theirs to give me some ideas. I have ordered the windshield, but other than that she is still stock from the day I bought her.

My previous boat was a 15' Klamath side console with a Merc 25 four-stroke with power tilt/trim. A few years older than your Tracker but still a similar style boat. BTW, I really liked that outboard a lot. Sipped fuel. I was pretty religious about preventive maintenance and never had any trouble with it.

Anyway, I liked the layout for the type fishing I did. It came with a bimini top which I actually used more than I thought I would. I was able to stand up under the bimini which I think makes a huge difference. I didn't do any extensive "mods". I guess my mod's were a fish finder, down riggers, and the typical compliment of rod holders, etc. I also had some custom down rigger brackets fabricated.

My side console didn't have a windshield. I think that would have been a nice feature.

Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Enjoy.

I have same boat...2019 w 50hp.
I added a hummingbird helix 5, a windshield and some Monster rod holders utilizing the trak rail. No extra holes. On the trailer tongue back up to that first roller/bumper, I ran skid resistant tape. My trailer has a bed liner type coating, from factory, but it still gets slick.
Oh...added a fire extinguisher under console too.
Bout it really

I have a 2019 tracker grizzly 1648. Not the SC model but still the same boat. Extended front deck for my batteries and added tackle box. Deck rod storage straps and rod storage in the lower deck as well. Holds 10 + rods in the boat without stepping all over them.10 Helix at the bow 9 at the tiller and a bow mount 360 hung over the transom and a terrova i-Pilot.She is the Cadillac of electric only rigs. This boat is to date my best rig . Bass boat carpet with padding under it. Anyone who has ever owned a tinny owes it to them selves to think about padding. The decks get warm but not scald the $h!t out of your self hot in the dog days of summer. It the future I plan to install a live well in the back bench.
Ps
Had fish on fabrication make my hatches. If you want the bass boat clean hatches Dawson does a great job they are sheep looking when wrapped.

"Fish on Fabrication"

They made my previous boat's down rigger brackets. Even though I am clear across the country, I liked working with those guys.

I have a Grizzly Tracker 1448.
I mostly troll for perch and walleye with an occasional fresh water striped bass on electric only reservoirs.
Added a rubber stall mat to keep me feets from cooking
Added a Bimi top, it makes the hot days bearable.
Added a backup camera so I can face my rods and keep an eye on what's ahead while trolling programed routes
Added 2 80 pound thrust Minn Kotas on the stern
Added a Minn Kota ultera 80 pound on the bow.
Cup holders, rod holders and Helix 7 fish finder round out the additions.
I use a swivel blind chair to round out my creature comforts.
Soon to be replacing the 6 heavy 120hour AGM's with 6 nice and light 100hour Dakota Lithium to power my Grizzly
