Looking at relocating to this area. How is the fishing for us small boaters? What options are available? Can a 16' tin get out into Charleston bay?

I've seen 14' boats out there... and they are right next to 120' Yachts...

The water out there can be rough at times, but people endure it. Charleston is an awesome city too - everything is based on "old times" and family traditions... you'll see a little bit of everything down there. Outside the city, it's just like anywhere else - except the hospitality is a little better ;)

You'll have a hard time running the harbor when there are many other boats there..that water gets rough with traffic. I had an 6 foot wave hit us in the harbor (4th of July=literally thousands of boats #-o )..we were running a 20' flats boat..it can get sketchy. Find specific rivers and creeks with ramps where you don't have to go into the harbor and you will be good to go.
