I'm sure it doesn't come up a lot with the smaller boats, but for larger boats does anyone use SeaTow? I'm asking for a friend who has a 19ft and goes out on Long Island sound sometimes, otherwise mostly lakes and rivers.
Is it something to get?

Thanks

My tin has enough back up power producers such as trolling motor and oars but I do have Boat US for boat and trailer assistance for my salt water boat. I've been towed in once in the ocean and that convinced me! Cheap insurance.

Just renewed my BoatUS unlimited on the water and road side TONIGHT.

Used it one time ,on the road, with boat and truck. That alone payed for about 8 years of my membership.

I prefer BoatUS also, they will go up to 50nm offshore to help ya without any extra charges, Seatow only goes 35.......well worth the piece of mind when you need some help in.

SeaTow or BoatUS you should have one or the other if you are going offshore. If you use them one time it pays for its self. I use SeaTow and have no complaints.
