Ventiliation Blower or just a vent? USCG Requirements

I figured the carpet would be breathable enough, but I like the metal vent idea over the hole better, just not sure if i like the plan open hole idea. The girls are pretty good about listening, probably me just being overly cautious. But I also think it would look a little nicer enclosed. Not...

Ventiliation Blower or just a vent? USCG Requirements

I'm defiantly continuing to do my own research after all I'll be the one getting into trouble if it comes to that. Here are some a couple pictures, not the best but you should be able to get the idea. Basically just adding to boards, one in front of the batteries/tank, and replacing the existing...

Ventiliation Blower or just a vent? USCG Requirements

From what I was reading a blower is only required when the motor and fuel tank are in same spot, but...

Carpeting benches and floor board question

i always found the best thing that has worked for me in the past is to use the 3m 77 spray glue and i spray it on both the wood and carpet then lay the carpet down and once i get it secured and flip it over and glue the excess edges on the underside and then staple it, never had a problem so far

    fish finder and trolling motor

i agree same battery should be fine, i really don't see the fishfinder pulling enough power to really effect the battery, unless for some reason it's one of the super fishfinders with the 10 inch plasma screen that plays movies, lol

i am sure it is just one wire, i can't believe i never thought that maybe they are using the boat as a ground, that would make running the wire a little easier.
