    jr, its a simple deal i took two pieces of 3/8 steel plate cut 12" x 8" and got 12" piece of 1 1/2" square tubing welded the tubing between my two sheets you will have to use a hammer to tap the extender down into place then two 3/8 bolts to hold it and your done.     After picking up this landau 1436 in December. I have finally got the registration taking care of and the motor issues worked out . I decided yesterday to build a transom extender and now that's done its time to hit the water.

    Well Im back in the tin boat club. After running astray for a few years with a Gheenoe I have decided that a tin boat fits my needs better fishing the rocky bottom Chattahoochee River here in Georgia. The boat needs a few things and some TLC but I feel like I have a solid platform to work from.
