Has anyone had any experiences with flotation pods on an outboard jet? I have a 1756 with a 150 and when it falls off plane, it falls off hard.

I run a 60/40 merc on an 1856 and I can get 30 downriver with 2 people. Anything else in the boat and it cuts down closer to 27. Who was your dealer?

There is aluminum fillers that are stronger than the typical plastic filler (bondo). Ive considered it. A buddy of mine had a jet ski that needed one but they were $250 so he smoothed it over with jb weld

Ive tried the fast and slow uproach. Slow then throttle down works good. Ive tried the sideways method. Doesnt work so well. Lol

My buddy runs a 1442 alumaweld that we put a 40/28 omc 2 stroke on and it runs great. Not unstable. Floats decently shallow. Runs about 34 mph with 1 guy.

My 60/40 mercury on my 1856 blazer likes to run between 28-30. It may not run as fast a prop boat but 90% of the places I run mine, a prop boat will top out at 0 mph.

What are the laws for missouri? I was just on the govt website but im still not sure exactly what the seasons are for our lakes and what they are for our rivers. Any help is greatly appreciated.
