here is a closer picture of the solenoids.

Here ya go! The up solenoid is the one to the left and the down is to the right. Just unplug the harness from the bottom, undo the bolt and replace. Try this first.

I have a 2000 tracker Pro 165 and my decks are a marine grade ply wood and the framing is aluminum.

You could build something like this out of wood and carpet it to match. They sell these pre-made from aluminmum but probably cost alot. Hope this helps.

Start off by replacing the up solenoid on the motor. I will try to take a pic tomorrow of mine so you see what it looks like. Hard to describe but their are 2 solenoids(up&down) square in shape, mine were on the right side of the motor.they have a wire harness that plugs into the bottom of them...

It does have old registration numbers on the side(hard to read). that might help you find out make/model and help with getting it registered in FL. Looking at the pic from bow to stern the boat looks "twisted"?

I also have an older trolling motor (original) from my 2000 bass tracker pro 165 that I would be willing to part with. Not sure what I would want for it but if you or anyone is is interested I can look into shipping and come up with a selling price. Motor works well it is a 43lb thrust...

Nice! I see you took a little road trip. I was down your way at another lunker lake. First time at Parvin saturday and didn't do too well. Between partner and I we got 4 largemouth. 3 were around 1-1/2 to 2lbs. My partner did get a 5lb'er later in the day by the dam. Lake was shallow, not sure...
