Putting this motor back together and i took pictures before taking each part off the motor and somehow dont have the coil pics so i looked online at the schematic and it shows me needing 3 flat washers for each coil but does not show me needing any of the star lock washers. In the pic is my...

Is there any tips or something i should know before i connect the rods,bearings and caps to the crankshaft on my motor? Besides greasing the needle bearings and loctite on the end cap screws? Want to make sure before i do it so its done right the first time.

Is there a trick when putting the leafs and stops back on the leaf plate? When i took the plate out to check them i used a flashlight on both sides and could not see any light from either side but now after putting them back together i can see light from both sides. If you put an electric start on this motor does it essentially make it a tiller electric model? And besides the starter motor what other changes are made? I assume something under the flywheel?? Thanks in advance!

What would cause the motor to only run at WOT with it fully choked and not run WOT with it not fully choked?

Factory service manual says .40 but everywhere else I look( including evinrude/Johnson site) says .30, which is correct (I assume what the factory service manual says..) Why would the factory manual and the factory website say two different gap settings???
