Is that a shower curtain rod?? That is an awesome idea. It's ideas like that, that keep my checking this site out. People using creativity and "repurposing" items in a great new way. Keep up the great work, boat looks awesome.

Not sure what kind of weight you'd be looking to haul in this contraption, but you may be able to rig up something with an old milk crate and some u-bolts. I would think that would hold a gas can and container. If not, should be pretty in-expensive, make 2.

I have the Vendetta and Revo SX. I'm still pretty new and don't have a lot to compare it to, but I love it. I guess the best info that I can give is that I have not had any issues with either piece. It has held up well all summer and I have nothing bad to report about it. Good luck

I have yet to catch anything with the new reel, but WOW can I tell a difference. Casts smoother, farther and more consistent. Much better than the Daiwa. Again, not trying to badmouth Daiwa, but if you are in the market for a new baitcaster, the Abu Garcia Revo SX is a specimen of a reel...
