I am a big fan of the Academy H2O Mettles and if you wait and catch them on sale you can get them for $25. With that being said there are a lot of really experienced reel mechanics in TX that could get your Curado's up and running, probably much cheaper than replacing them.

I have to agree with Fender66 on this one. I grew up using zebco's and thought for the longest time that they were the greatest, but after stripping the gears out of 4 of them in as many months I wont buy another one. They unfortunately do not make them like they used to.

I've been using them for years. Everything is pretty much 50% off. But, being standard issue, they only carry black on black. It's great if that's what your looking for, but if your wanting some crazy colors or designs you wont find them at standard issue.
