I ordered this one, it looks pretty decent construction wise. Better than the bass pro one I use to have. It takes blade fuses instead of glass ones, which is also nice.

Just a thought, you didn't really specify if it was the first start in the morning, or just any start throughout the morning, etc. I don't have a jet, but first thing in the morning the shaft on my mud motor is frozen. It did't want to turn over, and if it did, it would be too slow to start...

This might sound dumb, but is it possible that parts of the pump were freezing? Would make it harder to start.

Most LEDs for trailer use are encased in epoxy making them actually waterproof. There are no bulbs to burn out or break. They are brighter, and lower profile most of the time.

I'm going to be purchasing the super slick steel flex in the near future for a new mud boat. Is it possible to get it with other colors than what is listed on your site? I know its just pigment added, and I would much prefer olive drab or a marsh brown/tan color since its a hunting boat mainly.
