Going to be picking up a cheap jon boat to mess around in the great south bay on calm days / hit the shallows. Max spec motor for this boat is a 3HP outboard. Do you think I can get away with a 6HP?
The Max weight (including motor) for the 1032 Jon is 375 pounds.
Im 190 pounds + 60 pound 6Hp. yamaha/merc and a gallon of gas would be 256 pounds. Doable no?
