I'm a new member and I just came across your restoration of your 1978 bass tracker. I just purchased a 1978 bass tracker this past Saturday and plan on restoring it back to original condition. I have been trying to buy this boat for over 20 years and the owner finally decided to sell it to me. 700.00. It's been under a shelter all its life out of the weather. Has all the original equipment that came on it new, dept finder, trolling motor and the 35hp Johnson. I already have a 1995 18 bass tracker I have been working on that I currently fish out of,it had a blown up 90hp mercury and I replaced it with a 90hp johnson, way better. I've rewired the whole boat, made my own rod holders added fishing lights and interior lights, stereo and the top. Loving it so far. I can take my time with this new build.
. I'm very excited about this boat and when done it will be my river boat. I'm posting a few pics of both.
