1985 Johnson 8hp oil mix?

Just picked up what appears to have very little use 1985 Johnson 8 hp j8rocb. There is a sticker by the fuel connection that has a 100/1 mix. Seems I seen that I should remove that sticker and mix at 50/1?

I have read that during a certain time period OMC promoted a 100:1 mix, but later reverted back to 50:1.

Anything newer than the mid 60s will run perfectly on 50:1.
