Does any one know the correct oil gas mixture for the 1994 Mercury 6hp? I bought a nice boat/trailer combo and the guy through in this engine for free because he couldn't test it and his wife wanted it gone. (I'm taking pictures now to get ready for my boat mod thread!). I want to see if I can get this motor running before I drop a few thousand on a new one.

My 96 15HP was 50:1 cant imagine it being much different.
Can't hardly go wrong if it's free, if the motor is whole, has compression, and there are no cracks, splits, holes, ect. Take it with a smile and say thankyou. :mrgreen:
What ever is wrong, you can fix it cheaper then the cost of a new one for shure.
