I found an 1990 Alumacraft Trophy 19ft that that I would like to buy, but I am not sure if the 115 HP Mercury outboard that comes with it is a good option, or is it something to avoid.
The seller told me:
So, the questions are, should I avoid this kind of outboard, can I tow it with a Dodge Caravan, and ... do you have any other advice fo me?

- the outboard is in perfect running condition
- the outboard is using an external oil tank and pump to provide oil for the mixture
- the boat was last used 2-3 weeks ago
- if left in the water for one week, about 1 - gallons of water will leak inside.
