20hp johnson starter bracket

Ive been looking into installing electric start again. Ive been finding 2 differant style brackets. One that holds the solinod and one doesnt. Both look same in shape otherwise. I have seen 1 with a missing stud then the other. Mine is a 72 20hp johnson. Will starter and bracket from either other work?
