3M 5200 and painting

Can you paint over this stuff fully cured? I just used some on the back of my alum boat to seal up some holes. Obviously, it looks crappy so I would want to paint back over it. Is it paintable?

Not sure how well it hold paint due to the silicone in it.

They do have it in the Clear, but unfortuantely were out of when I bought some, and ended-up with the White.

Paint a test piece on some scrap, see what happens.

Can you seal the inside and remove it from the outside for painting?

I painted over mine back in Feb. so far its fine, still holding paint on it.

I actually used it on peice of plexi and painted over it in black....still holding up...no trouble.
