Picked up a parts motor 0A745967 to take the tilt and trim from. Anyone have a service manual for the tilt and trim? Or know how much fluid it should take?

It ran slow up and down to start with, I was hoping it just needed to be topped of with fluid and air bleed out. I raised the motor up and locked it up, topped of fluid ran it a few times letting it sit a few minutes between cycles. It still was running slow so I tried loosening the vent screw and fluid bubbled out violently and I dropped the screw. Went to the store to get more fluid and when I came back the trim motor won't spin anymore as if it's lockedup\binding. I took the motor apart and cleaned the brushes, I can tell it's getting power just not spinning free. Also turned the pump with an allen wrench like the motor shaft, it turned easily but would spin back a bit like it was a little springy. Any ideas why the motor stopped working?

Took the motor back off and now the pump is jammed. I can't turn it by hand anymore...

Got the pump out. I'm not seeing any way to take it apart. Any one know how this works exactly?

A little hammering and it split in half. The center drive gear was really jammed. Seemed like the end the motor shaft goes in was mushroomed out. There also were some burrs around the hole it's in but that could've been from disassembly. Some fine grit sandpaper and it's spinning free again.

Anyone know where those three ball bearings go? Hoping the one picture is right?

i don't need new ball bearings, just want to make sure i get them back in the right place.

if anyone has a manual for this trim/tilt i'm still interested. or if anyone knows the correct procedure to fill and bleed it? thanks

found the manual in the sticky posts, I wasn't able to use the log in on the one I've used in the past and didn't see there is another post with the manuals.

What is this contact in the trim motor? Some type of thermal fuse? Should it be touching or not touching?
