Hello all my first post here. I have a 70s aluminum Gregor that I’ve been fighting leaks with. Patched a couple pin holes I found by filling the hull with water in the driveway.

However it still leaks quite a bit when out fishing. I filled again and noticed a lot of water leaking out from these 2 holes near the right side of the transom bottom corner. It’s only leaking from the right corner holes. What are these for and can I patch them to stop the leak? Thanks!

Those are speed holes, their good for a 2mph increase in your top speed.

Kidding, their just drain holes for the welded on chines. If you were to close them up you could be inviting big problems.

Most likely there is a crack or pinhole in the hull underneath the chines that you will need to find.

Can you explain a little more what the chines are and how they work? I’m not sure where to look for a hole or crack that would lead water in? Sorry not much knowledge here
