Thanks guys for the kind words and thought and prayers. She had the procedure today. Dr. said he is pretty sure he got all the bad cells and had to take a smaller piece than in the average procedure. His description of the previous test results was this IS NOT cancer. These are enlarged cells that if left untreated COULD turn cancerous. She goes back in 2 weeks for a follow up just to see how the healing is progressing. Not sure who was more uncomfortable with the procedure, her or me as I was sitting in the treatment room holding her hand. Really glad she was covered with a sheet.
