On my new boat, it has a 24 volt TM. Can I charge one battery at a time without unhooking the batteries or could this cause problems? When you open the hatch, one battery is right there. The other one is very tightly crammed behind it with very little access. I will be buying a 4 bank charger soon, but I'm buying just necessities right now.
It has 2 cranking batteries also but I can turn the battery switch off to isolate them. I always hook the battery charger to them before a trip just to check the batteries. My charger will tell you what % they are at.
