Carrot Sticks

I;ve been hearing people complain about their Carrot, saying they break easily, anyone have this happen to them or know of anyone wit a broken stick?

No problems here with mine. I pulled-in a 4lb'er on my 6'7' Medium "Carrot", rigged with a Shimano Sahara FB2500. Did the reportees state how or under which conditions theirs were broken?

My buddy has a carrot 6'8" stick that he uses for pitchen and no problems. Ive been told some broke when casting, and a couple broke setting the hook

I have a 7' 2'' model. Caught a 6lb 8oz on it. No problems at all. I have heard people breaking them but I think he did it himself becaue it broke when he was casting.

I wonder if they're exceeding the recommended weights limits of the rod?
