Just some pics from todays tinkering with his boat. He's going to put a 15hp 4 stroke on and needed the transom 6" taller.
Pretty cool little boat, only real gripe is the skin is only .050" thick, so it was pretty tricky welding the 1.5 x .125" angle on to frame the transom extension. We ended up putting rails on the outside to stiffen and give him something strong to throughbolt into. Current thinking is to finish the transom skin with some thicker material and do a inside face plate once the wood is back in place.
Dimensions were 27" wide with a 10" center section 6" higher than the rest.
