I was just given a small outboard to hopefully fix up for a future tin project. I was told it was a 5 hp and it ran 15 years ago. :? If anything it would be fun just to tinker with. So I started checking it out and its a Clinton model J 8 serial# 42963. I did some research and believe it to be from 1958. Would anyone happen to know any more info on it.
(update) It was froze up so I started stripping it to rebuild it. Its not in real bad shape. I'm gonna clean it up and get it back together. This motor is much easier to work on then my Mercury 650.
