 7:00am-1:00pm Breezy to calm, cloudy early turning sunny, stained water, 76-80 water temps, 65-75 air temps. Landed six bass out of nine hookups out of this public pond. Worked topwater baits first thing in the morning. Got one small bass on a Bill Dance pop n' image. Nothing on a buzzbait. Got another 13" fish pitching a Baby Brush Hog into weeds. Hit the deeper part of the pond with a silver Rapala DT-6 and finally nailed a nice bass. 4lb 1oz. Got a 14" fish a few casts later. Finally as the winds totally died down I went to the worm. Nailed a small guy right away on a 5" Lemon/Lime Senko. A few minutes later I thought had weeds but it was fish. Never set the hook. Came to the top and leaped out of the water spitting the hook. Over 3lbs. Switched over to a 10" grape/black Powerbait worm. Had a massive hit. I knew it was big. 6lb 7oz. That really made my day. Had another 2lber leap into the air and spit the hook on the 10" worm.
