Hi All,

Last year, I almost lost my electric motor, when it was on full, and I turned it - **** thing almost torqued right off the transom.

So this year, I came up with this solution.

I took a piece of 3" x 2" x 1/8" angle aluminum. I cut the 2" side down to about 2/3" across, ground down the corners (b/c knowing me, I'd cut or hang myself up on even a mild corner), and riveted it to the transom.

Hopefully, the motor will grab this better, and it will also give me some safety if my motor ever tries torquing off again.

Thought I'd share. :)
